Make a Selfie: Me!
How this design represents me is the simplicity of it. I’m not a complicated person, and one of the things I value is simplicity. I used a basic complimentary color scheme with simple shapes to style the simplistic design.
The photo I used for inspiration had colors in it that didn’t go together. That is the main reason why I changed them for the design. In my design, I decided to make the background purple because it was a complimentary color to the yellow hair. I decided to keep both the hat and shirt as black to add some balance to my design. I wanted to keep the facial expression as simple as possible. That is why I only drew two lines as the nose and mouth.
